Abstract

The method involves determining an initial position according to correlation between semantic information provided by an application and another semantic information associated to directories. A man-machine interface element is not provided with navigation units within a directory tree from the initial position to a final position. The correlation is maximized by the initial position. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an information processing system (2) a man-machine interface (3) a software comprising units for implementing a method for accessing an application operating on an information processing system to access a set of files organized in a directory tree, when implemented on an information processing device.
