Abstract

An ink set for inkjet recording is provided that includes at least a cyan ink, a magenta ink, a yellow ink, and a black ink, the cyan ink including at least a phthalocyanine pigment, the magenta ink including at least C.I. Pigment Violet 19, C.I. Pigment Red 122, C.I. Pigment Red 202, or a mixed crystal pigment containing C.I. Pigment Violet 19, the yellow ink including at least C.I. Pigment Yellow 120, 150, 151 , 155, 180, or 213, the black ink including at least carbon black, all of the cyan ink, the magenta ink, the yellow ink, and the black ink including (Component A) anN-vinyllactam and/or tetrahydrofurfuryl (meth)acrylate, (Component B) a compound represented by Formula (1) at 21 to 55 wt% relative to the total weight of the ink, and (Component C) a polymerization initiator, all of the cyan ink, the magenta ink, the yellow ink, and the black ink either not containing a silicone-based surfactant or a fluorine-based surfactant or containing a silicone-based surfactant and a fluorine-based surfactant at a total content of greater than 0 wt% but less than 0.1 wt% relative to the total weight of the ink, and all of the cyan ink, the magenta ink, the yellow ink, and the black ink having a surface tension at 25°C of 29.0 to 33.4 mN/m. <img class="EMIRef" id="465041338-ia01" /> In the Formula, R<1>denotes a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, X denotes a single bond or a divalent linking group, and R<2>to R<12>independently denote a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group.
