Abstract

Data output from an existing application 201 to specific devices 3A, 5, 3B can be easily distributed to plural devices. A method of distributing device-specific data output from an application 201 on a computer 2 that executes a specific process according to the application 201 and has two or more communication ports 209A, 209B causes the computer 2 to execute a step of acquiring device-specific data output by an executed program to one specific communication port at the operating system kernel layer 230 before the device-specific data is received at the communication port 209A and/or 209B; and a step of analyzing the device-specific data acquired at the application layer 220, determining a device to which the device-specific data is output based on the data analysis, and outputting the device-specific data to the communication port to which the device is connected.
