Abstract

An agricultural piston press (1) comprises a press chamber (2) in which a pressing piston (3) is moveable in an oscillating manner, and a feeding channel (7), in which a gatherer (13) can be switched over between a collecting stroke movement compacting harvested crop in the feeding channel (7) and a filling stroke movement translocating the harvested crop from the feeding channel (7) into the press chamber (2). A drive of the gatherer (13) comprises a control arm (36) which for controlling at least one of the gatherer movements interacts with an adjustable stop (45).
