Abstract

The circuit (18') has a connecting unit for connecting a direct current source i.e. battery (16'), and another connecting unit for connecting an electronic equipment i.e. electronic card (10). A protection unit protecting the source against reverse connection comprises a P-type MOSFET (20') mounted reversely between the latter connecting unit and the source. A power source (12') is associated with a switching unit i.e. switch (14'), that is controlled by current flow direction within the circuit. An optocoupler (32') is arranged parallel to the former connecting unit and the switching unit.
