Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for providing a transport unit (100) comprising a plurality of ceiling tiles (1, 1 a, 1 b, 1 c) made of mineral fibres and a binder. Each ceiling tile (1, 1 a, 1 b, 1 c) includes a front surface, a rear surface, at least one side surface and a front surface layer (10) arranged on the front surface. The method comprises arranging said plurality of ceiling tiles (1, 1 a, 1 b, 1 c) in a at least one stack (30) including a top ceiling tile (1 a), a bottom ceiling tile (1b) and at least one intermediate ceiling tile (1c), wherein the front surface layer (10) of each intermediate ceiling tile (1c) is facing a front surface layer (10) of an adjacent ceiling tile (1a, 1b, 1c), compressing said at least one stack (30) to a compressed state, and securing said at least one stack (30) in said compressed state. The invention further relates to a transport unit (100) and to a ceiling tile (1).
