Abstract
The container (1) has a top opening (9) for introduction of waste. A lower opening is located vertically above the upper opening for the introduction of the waste by persons of small size. A deflector (13) is provided between the upper opening and the lower opening to receive waste, where the deflector is designed as a single piece made of acoustically insulating material such as mesh, felt, paperboard or plastic, capable of damping the fall of waste and guiding the waste introducing through the upper opening. The lower opening is horizontally spaced from the upper opening.
