Abstract

The container (10) has a cover (28) mounted on an upper wall (22) between closed and open positions in which the cover respectively closes and provides free access to a waste introduction opening of the wall. A receptacle receives waste, and is mounted on the wall between a receiving position in which the receptacle is placed opposite to the opening and prevents direct access to the interior of the container, and a retracted position. The cover includes a receptacle maintaining unit i.e. hook, for maintaining the receptacle in the receiving position when the cover is in the open position.
