Abstract
The focusing head comprises a collimator lens (LC) made of zinc sulfide, a focusing lens (LF) made of fused silica, and a folding mirror operating at an angle of incidence of 40-50[deg] . The collimator lens and the focusing lens have a thickness of 6-8 mm, and a diameter of 3.5-5.5 mm. The folding mirror is provided on a laser beam path inside the focusing head between the collimator lens and focusing lens, and is made of fused silica. Independent claims are included for: (1) an installation for laser beam cutting; and (2) a process for cutting a metal part by laser beam.
