Abstract

The shoe i.e. snowboard boot (1), has an upper (3) including an envelope (15) provided with a bottom portion (10) and a top portion (11). The envelope is extended in a height direction from an outer bottom (2) to an upper end (13). The upper end includes an upper opening (14). The envelope includes a lateral quarter (21) and a medial quarter (22). The lateral and medial quarters define a rear opening in the top portion. The rear opening communicates with the upper opening. A reversible closing unit e.g. collar (32), partially or totally closes the rear opening.
