Abstract

The present invention concerns a method for setting the maximum value of the transmission power of the signals transferred by a home base station located in a building located in the cell of a base station. The method comprises the steps of: - obtaining, the power value of received radio signals transferred by the base station which serves at least one mobile terminal located in the vicinity of the home base station, - setting the maximum value of the transmission power of the home base station according to the obtained power value of received radio signals transferred by the base station taking into account a wall penetration factor of the building and aiming at making the worst signal to interference plus noise ratio of a mobile terminal served by base station and located in the vicinity of the home base station equal to the worst signal to interference plus noise ratio of a mobile terminal served by the home base station.
