Abstract
An aircraft fuel tank access cover 10 comprises an inner door 12, an outer door 14 and a clamping arrangement for clamping the doors together about an access aperture 70 in the skin of the fuel tank. The clamping arrangement comprises a bolt in-moulded in a generally central part of the inner door and or external nut. The doors have reinforcing rib arrangements to spread the clamping load to the peripheral edges thereof.
