Abstract

A developer holding apparatus holds a developer material therein. A rotatable member (27) is disposed within the developer holding apparatus. The rotatable member includes a rotational shaft (27b) and an agitating portion (27e). The agitator is offset relative to the rotational shaft and extends in a first direction parallel to the rotational shaft. The agitating portion includes a first portion (27g) and a second portion (27f). The first portion (27g) includes a first dimension (W1) in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction and the second portion (27f) includes a second dimension (D1) in a third direction substantially parallel to the second direction. The second dimension (D1) is smaller in width than the first dimension (W1).
