Abstract

The pump (10) has a rotor (13) rotatably mounted in a stator (12) that is movably mounted in a housing (11). A regulation system regulates delivery pressure of the pump and acts on the stator to move the stator and change a position of a rotation axis (17) of the rotor relative to the stator based on oil output pressure. A sealing unit has a shape memory flap (23) and a valve that closes an oil drain opening (22) and moves from a pressed position to a remote position. The valve is pressed against a wall of the housing in the pressed position associated with a closing state of the sealing unit. The valve is moved away from the wall of the housing toward outer side of the housing when the valve is in the remote position associated with an opening state of the sealing unit, where the sealing unit is controlled based on oil temperature.
