Abstract

An electric compressor includes a housing (2), an electric motor, a compression mechanism, and a resin molding (30). The electric motor includes a coil (15) having coil ends (15A) projecting from each of two end surfaces of the stator (10). Refrigerant (32) flows through the housing (2) that accommodates the electric motor. The resin molding (30) partly covers each coil end (15A) and includes an opening that exposes part of the coil end (15A) to the interior of the housing (2).
