Abstract

A dishwasher (10) includes a tub (18) at least partially defining a treating chamber (20) and a spraying system (28) for supplying liquid to the treating chamber (20). The spraying system (28) includes a sprayer (34, 134, 234, 334, 434, 534) having a body with an interior (58, 158, 258, 358, 458, 558), a liquid passage (59, 159, 259, 359, 459, 559) provided in the interior (58, 158, 258, 358, 458, 558), and an outlet (60, 160, 260, 360, 460, 560) extending through the body and in fluid communication with the liquid passage (59, 159, 259, 359, 459, 559). A valve body (70, 170, 270, 370, 470, 570) controls fluid to the outlet (60, 160, 260, 360, 460, 560).
