Abstract
The method involves transmitting a level-2 message by a controller (113a) to a gateway (141) when a mobile terminal (151) connects to a base station (111a) affiliated to the controller. An Internet protocol (IP) message having an IP address of the mobile terminal and an IP address of the gateway in an interconnection network (120) is created, and the IP message is broadcast by to destination gateways, where each destination gateway stores a correspondence between the IP addresses of the terminal and the sending gateway associated with the controller to which the terminal is affiliated. An independent claim is also included for a system for guaranteeing the continuity of the communications operated from a fourth-generationmobile terminal connected to a radio network.
