Abstract

The method involves providing a spiral spring (12) and a plate (14) that is provided with a finger (15) cooperating with a fork of an exhaust. The spring is positioned and indexed in reference to the finger to assemble the spring and the plate with each other by welding fusion to form a spiral spring and plate assembly (10), where the assembly does not comprise an intercalated beam. The spring and the plate are formed of silicon. The fusion is carried out at temperature ranging between 100 and 1200 degrees Celsius and a pressure ranging between 0.5 and 10 bars.
