Abstract

The method involves activating activation elements (4, 4') of an electronic watch (1), where the elements are connected to a control and processing circuit for passing into an authentication mode of the watch. A signaling device is controlled following the activation of the activation elements for signaling authentication information of the watch to a user of the watch by visually, acoustically or by tactile feeling. A hand (6) is pulled by a motorized unit when the activation element is activated so to be moved above a dial (5) for signaling the authentication information of the watch. An independent claim is also included for an electronic watch.
