Abstract
A method for operating an air-conditioning system (10) for an aircraft including receiving an available power level (25) from a control system of the aircraft, forwarding air from a first compressed air source (12;101) to an aircraft cabin (20) and forwarding air from a second compressed air source (22;103) to the aircraft cabin (20) if the available power level (25) exceeds a threshold value.
