Abstract

Laundry machine such as a washing machine or a washing machine with drying function, comprising: - a treatment container having a bottom section (5), wherein the bottom section (5) comprises or forms a sump (6), wherein the sump (6) has a bottom wall (14) and at least one first lateral wall (15); - at least one heating element (13) arranged at least partially within the sump (6) for heating up washing liquid being in the sump (6); - at least one support element (18) arranged at least partially within the sump (6), said support element (18) supports the at least one heating element (13) within the sump (6) and in a distance to the bottom wall (14) of the sump (6), characterized in that said support element (18) is spaced from the bottom wall (14) of the sump (6).
