Abstract

The method involves providing a control interface i.e. man machine interface (3) of a control box (2) and signal transmission elements (8). An action is performed on an adjustment key (5-1) of the interface in adjustment mode to cause transmission of an adjustment signal associated with the action. Another action is performed on the adjustment key in a control mode to cause transmission of particular control command, excluding control commands from movement of a mobile equipment and transmission of the signal, where functionalities of control keys (4-1-4-3) remain unchanged between the modes. The commands are selected from stop of movement of the mobile equipment and lighting of an electric load i.e. lamp. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a controller readable data recording medium for recording a computer program comprising software units to implement a method for operating a control box (2) a control box comprising hardware and/or software elements for implementing a method for operating a control box (3) an installation.
