Abstract

An image forming apparatus (100) includes a dust collection part (50) that captures toner that has passed through the duct (42) together with an airflow generated by the first fan (51) and a connection portion (55) that is provided at some point along a length of the duct (42) and can store part of toner that passes therethrough together with an airflow. The connection portion (55) has a lid portion (57) that is openable and closable with respect to a main body (56) of the connection portion (55).
