Abstract
A flow body (2) having a surface (6), a leading edge (4) has an active flow control system, wherein the active flow control system comprises a plurality of openings (8), at least one control pressure varying device (14) and at least one fluidic actuator (10) with an interaction chamber having an inlet connectable to an air source (12), at least two outlets and at least two control pressure ports. The openings (8) are distributed along or parallel to the leading edge (4) in a side-by-side relationship and extend through the surface (6). The control pressure varying device (14) is connected to the at least two control pressure ports in a fluidic manner, wherein the control pressure varying device (14) is adapted to bring about the flow of the fluid at least majoritarily into a respective one of the outlets. Each of the outlets is connected to one individual opening (8) of the plurality of openings (8). Thereby, an effective active flow control system is realized that does neither necessitates mechanically movable elements nor a large installation space.
