Abstract

A sub headlight unit (13L, 13R) for use in a vehicle that leans into turns, the sub headlight unit (13L, 13R) including a sub headlight light source (33L, 33R), the sub headlight unit (13L, 13R) being arranged in a position above and outward of a main headlight light source (11H, 11L) of the vehicle with respect to a width direction of the vehicle and distant from a vehicle body of the vehicle. The sub headlight light source (33L, 33R) is configured to be turned on in accordance with a lean angle of the vehicle and to illuminate, from the position distant from the vehicle body, an area ahead and outward of the vehicle with respect to the width direction of the vehicle.
