Abstract

A motorcycle (1) has a storage box (80) disposed above a main frame and an engine, a seat (50) disposed above the storage box (80), and a vehicle body cover (32) disposed vehicle-widthwise outward of the storage box (80). The seat (50) has a protruding portion disposed outward of the vehicle body cover (32). The storage box (80) has an opening at its top portion, a left wall (95) and a right wall (85) that define the opening, first interlocking portions (98, 88) connected respectively to the left wall (95) and the right wall (85), and second interlocking portions (89, 99) that are separate parts from the first interlocking portions (98, 88). The first interlocking portions (98, 88) extend outward of the vehicle body cover (32) over an upper edge of the vehicle body cover (32) and interlock with the upper edge of the vehicle body cover (32).
