Abstract

The apparatus (10) has a solenoid (32) surrounding a stem (22) and extending between an end (34) of connection to an electrical circuit and another end (36). The ends of the solenoid are coupled with an enclosure (16) in a rigid way. A pressure unit (42) includes a rigid connection between the solenoid and the stem such that a closed position of contacts (12, 14) and a passage of the current involve the displacement of the pressure unit along direction of one of the contacts and a connection of the ends of the solenoid whose force attends the maintenance of the closed position.
