Abstract

The lens (1) has an output diopter (3) configured to allow the emission of an output light beam along an optical axis. An input diopter (2) receives the output light beam. The output diopter comprises a convex profile according to a foreground parallel with the optical axis. The convex profile is a portion of a pseudo-ellipse having a main axis parallel with the optical axis and a small axis secant with the main axis. The pseudonym ellipse is different from an ellipse, in which the main axis cuts the small axis in a point different from a medium of the small axis. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an optical lens for a optical lighting module of a car.
