Abstract

In a screen printing apparatus (160) including: an impression cylinder (162) that receives a sheet (101) from a transfer cylinder (161) located upstream in the sheet transport direction through a sheet gripping device (164) and transports the sheet held in the sheet gripping device (164); and a rotary screen cylinder (163) that is in contact with the impression cylinder (162) and performs screen printing for the sheet (101) held by the impression cylinder (162), the transfer cylinder (161) is located above the impression cylinder (162), and the rotary screen cylinder (163) is located to the side of the impression cylinder (162) so that ink, varnish, or the like accumulates in a squeegee portion including a squeegee shaft (21), a squeegee (23), and the like in the rotary screen cylinder (163).
