Abstract

An image forming apparatus (302) having a plurality of paper feed units (306-315) and a control method thereof that displays a paper selection screen for displaying a page of items of information of the paper feed units and selecting a paper to be used in print processing by selecting an item of the items of information in the page displayed on the paper selection screen. Items of information of the plurality of paper feed units are divided into a plurality of pages. The apparatus and method control the display unit (502) to display a page among the plurality of pages in accordance with a status of the image forming apparatus in a case that the display unit displays the paper selection screen.
