Abstract

The invention relates to a valve assembly (11) for an injection valve (10), comprising a valve body (14) including a central longitudinal axis (L), the valve body (14) comprising a cavity (18) with a fluid inlet portion (42) and a fluid outlet portion (40), a valve needle (20) axially movable in the cavity (18), the valve needle (20) preventing a fluid flow through the fluid outlet portion (40) in a closing position and releasing the fluid flow through the fluid outlet portion (40) in further positions. The valve needle (20) comprises a retainer element (23) extending in radial direction. An electro-magnetic actuator unit (36) comprises an armature (22) and a pole piece (37), the armature (22) being axially movable in the cavity (18) and being designed to actuate the valve needle (20) via the retainer element (23), the pole piece (37) being fixedly coupled to the valve body (14) and comprising an inner recess (48), the retainer element (23) being at least partially arranged in the inner recess (48). The pole piece (37) comprises a stop element (50) extending into the inner recess (48) of the pole piece (37) in radial direction. The stop element (50) has a stop surface (52) facing the fluid outlet portion (40) and the retainer element (23). The stop surface (52) of the stop element (50) is designed to limit the axial movement of the retainer element (23). The invention relates to an injection valve (10) with a valve assembly (11).
