Abstract

The present invention relates to a straddle-type vehicle (1) comprising a seat portion (2) configured to move between a first position and a second position, the first position being a position for riding, a lid portion (3) located rearward of the seat portion (2) and configured to move between a first position and a second position, a first contact portion formed on an upper surface of the seat portion and a second contact portion formed on a lower surface of the lid portion, wherein the first contact portion is arranged to contact with the second contact portion when the seat portion (2) and the lid portion (3) are in their respective first positions, wherein when the seat portion (2) and the lid portion (3) are in their respective first positions, a lower surface of the lid portion (3) located behind the second contact portion is positioned higher than the first and second contact portions; and a section of the upper surface of the seat portion (2) forming the first contact portion is inclined upwards and rearwards.
