Abstract
A battery module includes a metal casing (4) and a battery cell (3) accommodated in the casing (4). The casing (4) is provided on its outer surface with an insulation layer (8) and a conductive portion (11). An insulation inspection can be easily conducted with a simple configuration without increasing the number of operation steps.
