Abstract

The present invention is directed to providing, in a plurality of information processing apparatus (501a, 501b) which transmit and receive objects (503), a technique for causing the display contents in both apparatus to be related by both apparatus performing simple exchange of information. An information processing apparatus includes a display control unit configured to cause, based on the information on the direction in which an object displayed on a screen (502a) has been moved, from another apparatus that transmits the information and the information indicating the compass direction in which the screen (502b) of the information processing apparatus has been directed, an object which is the same as an object displayed on a screen of the other apparatus to appear from a compass direction opposite of the compass direction in which the object displayed on the screen of the other apparatus has been moved, in the screen of the information processing apparatus.
