Abstract

The lid (7) has an internal pin (20) for controlling the operation of a domestic food preparation and/or cosmetics appliance. An annular inner wall (30) includes a passage (31) extending through the inner wall and an outer wall (40) of plastics material molded around the inner wall. The internal pin is output from the outer wall, and extends through the passage beyond the inner wall, where the passage forms a notch in an edge (33) of the inner wall. The inner wall forms a lateral upright (34) curving towards a bottom (21) of the lid. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electrical domestic food preparation and/or cosmetics appliance (2) a method for obtaining a lid.
