Abstract
A recording method which is performed by using a recording apparatus which includes a movable belt transporting a recording medium, a recording mechanism discharging an ink from a recording head to the recording medium to perform a recording, and a cleaning mechanism of the movable belt, which when performing a recording on the recording medium, has a recording process of a confirmation image which records a confirmation image capable of confirming an ink discharge failure outside of the recording medium in the scanning direction of the movable belt.
