Abstract

An image capturing method includes continuously generating one or more OFF images (a1, a2) in which the subject is captured with the illumination (11b; 21b; 31bA, 31bB) turned OFF, for a first number of times; continuously generating ON images (b1, b2, b3, b4) in which the subject is captured with the illumination (11b; 21b; 31bA, 31bB) turned ON, for a second number of times; continuously generating one or more OFF images (a3, a4) in which the subject is captured with the illumination (11b; 21b; 31bA, 31bB) turned OFF, for the first number of times; computing a difference image between each of the generated ON images (b1, b2, b3, b4) and the OFF image corresponding to the ON image among the generated OFF images (a1, a2, a3, a4); and integrating the computed difference images.
