Abstract
The invention provides an artificially defective cured laminate (11) suitable for being used as a test specimen to simulate real delamination defects produced naturally in the manufacture of a composite part. The artificially defective cured laminate (11) comprises a plurality of layers of a composite material (12a, 12b, ..., 12f) and an insert (15) between two of said layers comprising at least two layers of an anti-adherent material (12a, 12b) arranged for avoiding that the resin of the layers of a composite material (12a, 12b, ..., 12f) can flow between them during the curing stage of the laminate. The invention also provides a manufacturing method of the artificially defective cured laminate (11).
