Abstract
A CPU of a reading device acquires a plurality of positions detected by a sensor board. In a case where the CPU determines that a combination and a sequence of the acquired plurality of positions satisfy a specified first condition, the CPU acquires a plurality of positions that are detected (S55). A plurality of second conditions are associated with a format of a paper medium and stored in a table. The CPU refers to the table, and determines whether the combination and the sequence of the acquired plurality of positions satisfy any of the plurality of second conditions (S67). In a case where the CPU determines that the combination and the sequence of the acquired plurality of positions satisfy one of the plurality of second conditions, the CPU identifies the format corresponding to the one of the plurality of second conditions (S69).
