Abstract

A hydraulic machine (20) of a radial piston type is provided with: a plurality of pistons (24) arranged along a radial direction of the hydraulic machine (20); a plurality of rollers (26) provided rotatably for the plurality of pistons (24), respectively; and a cam (32) having a cam surface (33) contacting the plurality of rollers (26). The cam (32) is configured rotatable around a rotation shaft (30) of the hydraulic machine (20) relative to the plurality of rollers (26), and a polishing direction of the cam surface (33) is different from a rotation direction of the rotation shaft (30).
