Abstract

Status information representing the status of a device (100) which performs predetermined processing is acquired from the device. The acquired status information is stored in a memory (204). The status information is output in response to input of a request to output the status information of the device. When the request is input after the lapse of the first time from the time corresponding to acquisition of the status information stored in the memory, status information is newly acquired from the device in accordance with the request, and the status information already stored in the memory before the input of the request is output.
