Abstract
The invention relates to a luggage compartment for a means of transport and to a means of transport with a luggage compartment. The luggage compartment comprises a housing with a pivotably attached connecting element and with a sliding element. The connecting element is adapted for being pivotably attached to a first structural element and the sliding element is adapted for moving along a rail connected to a second structural element. The luggage compartment is easy to manufacture and to maintain.
