Abstract

The invention relates to a secondary battery with a cap plate (100), a terminal plate (111) and an insulation member (212) between and contacting the cap plate (100) and the terminal plate (111). In order to prevent a short circuit from occurring between the cap plate (100) and the terminal plate (111) by a conductive liquid, the invention provides that the insulation member (212) is formed with an inclined upper surface (212a).
