Abstract
The present invention refers to a method for establishing a X2 connection between two base stations in a network comprising X2 gateways wherein the said method comprises a registration step of the two base stations toward a local X2 gateway and wherein at least one IP address of one of the two base stations is transmitted to the other base station within an X2 AP set up message.
