Abstract

A line clip (70) of a spinning reel (100) includes a mounting member (72) and a clip member (74). The mounting member (72) is configured to be mounted to the spool (4). The clip member (74) is disposed on the mounting member (72), and is configured to lock the fishing line (FL) between the clip member (74) and the surface of the spool (4). The clip member (74) comprises a mounting end portion (76) having the mounting member (72) attached thereto, the mounting end portion (76) having a predefined width (W1) in a circumferential direction of the spool (4), an introduction end portion (78) configured to have a fishing line (FL) introduced thereto, and a movement restriction portion (80) disposed between the mounting end portion (76) and the introduction end portion (78), having a width (W2, W3) that is different from the predefined width (W1), and being configured to restrict the fishing line (FL) from moving to the introduction section side.
