Abstract

A mounting assembly for lighting devices (10) includes: - an annular holder (16) coupleable (18) to a lighting source (14), e.g. a LED lighting source, with the annular holder (16) surrounding the lighting source (14), - a bracket member (22) extending radially of the annular holder (16) over at least a portion of the periphery of the annular holder (16), and - a circuit board (26) supporting electrical drive components for the lighting source (14) mounted on said bracket member (22). The circuit board (26) has an arched, crescent-like shape corresponding to the shape of bracket member (22). The annular holder (16) includes an annular formation (30) for coupling with an optical element, e.g. a reflector (R) which acts on the light radiation emitted by the lighting source (14).
