Abstract

A gas turbine engine exhaust panel mounting system comprising a panel (102), a casing (104) and an attachment assembly (100) for removably connecting the panel (102) to the casing (104) comprises a retaining portion (110), a clamping portion (120), and a 'C'-shaped connecting link (130). The connecting link (130) has a first attachment portion (132) and an opposite second attachment portion (134) with the first (132) and second attachment portions (134) being connected to one another by a centre portion (136). Each of the first (132) and second attachment portions (134) is substantially parallel to one another and extends in the same direction from respective ends of the centre portion (136). The first attachment portion (132) is fixedly connected to the casing (104) by the clamping portion (120), and the second attachment portion (134) is slidingly connected to the panel (102) by the retaining portion (110).
