Abstract

Solution(s): On side surface 36 where tire maximum width point (P) is located, tire 2 is provided with numerous dimples 62 aligned along numerous circumferential rows set to be concentric with respect to the tire axis, lateral ribs 66 between radially adjacent dimples, and longitudinal ribs 68 between circumferentially adjacent dimples. In such a tire, lateral ribs 66 each have a radially outer side surface and a radially inner side surface. Lateral ribs include first lateral rib 661, whose height from the dimple bottom to the upper edge at inner side surface (661i) is the same as the height from the dimple bottom to the upper edge at outer side surface (661o), and second lateral rib 662, whose height from the dimple bottom to the upper edge at inner side surface (662i) is greater than the height from the dimple bottom to the upper edge at outer side surface (662o). Second lateral rib 662 is positioned radially inward from tire maximum width point (P).
