Abstract

To provide a cover for a linear conveyer that improves workability and safety in mounting and detaching a slider. A linear conveyer includes a stationary module (20) and a slider (10). The stationary module (20) includes a rail that linearly extends and a stator (26) including armature coils. The slider (10) includes a mover having magnetic poles arranged linearly, and a rail guide (13) that is fitted to the rail. The slider (10) slides from an end surface of the rail along an elongated direction of the rail to be arranged on the rail and moving on the rail by linear motor driving. A cover (40) is attached to the slider (10) to cover a magnetic pole face of the mover of the slider (10). The cover (40) has a thickness so as to come in contact with an end portion (26A) of the stator (26) when the slider (10) is mounted to the rail (22), and the cover (40) is detached from the slider (10) by the contact with the end portion (26A) of the stator (26).
