Abstract

Proposed is a device for mounting a vehicle attendant seat (16) in a cabin of a vehicle, comprising a retaining body (2), a receiving device (12) arranged on the retaining body (2) for mounting the vehicle attendant seat (16), a pivoting means (4) arranged on the retaining body (2), a first locking means and an elongated rail (56) on which the pivoting means (4) is slidably held and connectable to a wall surface (50) in the cabin of the vehicle. External contours of the retaining body (2) span a plane; the receiving device (12) is arranged on a surface of the retaining body (2), which surface extends parallel to the plane, and is designed to mechanically connect the vehicle attendant seat (16) to the retaining body (2). The vehicle attendant seat (16) may be stowed, slid into an indentation in the vehicle, and for use may be pulled from the indentation, may be pivoted and may be locked. Accommodating the vehicle attendant seat (16) is thus achieved in a very space-saving manner.
